This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.
Light snow accumulations will be possible at the higher elevations
Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. In addition, west winds
could gust over 45 mph during this time. Excessive cold, with wind
chills as low as 5 below zero to 5 above zero, will be possible
Thursday morning.
