The ongoing Takata airbag recall continues as both Ford and Toyota have expanded their safety efforts. In the latest recall, approximately 816,000 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles built in North America are impacted, while approximately 543,000 Toyota vehicles are impacted.
Ford Customers who want to know if their vehicle is included in this recall can visit Ford's safety recalls page and enter their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
Toyota, Lexus or Scion vehicles, customers should check their vehicle’s status by visiting toyota.com/recall and entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
