Crime Stoppers seeks information in identifying subject in fraud case

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On November 2, 2023, The Boone Police Department received a report of fraud. The victim reported over $1000.00 of fraudulent charges were applied to his debit/credit card(s) at various locations in Boone. The Boone Police Department retrieved surveillance footage of this incident and is requesting the public’s help identifying the subject in the attached photographs.

The Boone Police Department is asking that anyone with information regarding the breaking and entering or of the identity of the suspect(s) in this crime or any other crimes, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-268-6959 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900. All information will be kept confidential.

High Country Crime Stoppers pays rewards for information, which leads to arrests; recovery of stolen property; seizure of drugs and the location of wanted persons.
