High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:
On July 17, 2018, at approximately 4:40 PM a hit and run occurred in the parking lot of Wal-mart, 200 Watauga Village Drive. A black Jeep Cherokee struck a vehicle in the handicap spaces and then left the area. The driver of the Jeep was an adult, white male. The Jeep appears to be a newer model with a sticker on the back, left window and light color running boards.
