Boone Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Truck After Man Ejected from Bed

The Boone Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a vehicle and individuals involved in an incident in which a man was ejected from the bed of a moving pickup truck last Saturday night.

According to High Country Crime Stoppers, officers responded at approximately 11:57 p.m. on April 11, 2026 to the area of Perkinsville Drive and Grove Street after receiving a report of an injured individual who had fallen from the bed of a moving truck. The vehicle was reported to be traveling in a careless and reckless manner at the time the male was ejected.

The vehicle is described as a dark-colored, four-door Dodge Ram pickup truck with a custom lift, distinctive white lighting underneath the wheel wells, and black wheels.
