The annual Fourth of July Parade through Downtown Boone will take place on Thursday July 4, 2013 at 11am. This year the parade will celebrate volunteers in our community, and the Grand Marshals will be Robert and Agnes Shipley.
The parade will travel down King Street in Downtown Boone and will conclude at Poplar Grove Extension. The Town of Boone will host evening festivities at Clawson/Burnley Park off of Hunting Hills Lane starting at 7:00 pm with family activities and fireworks by Zambelli at 9:30 pm.

•NO PARKING is allowed in the staging area – Horn in the West parking lot.
•Floats and large vehicles should approach the staging area via Horn in the West Drive off of Highway 321 (the road beside Hampton Funeral Service).
•Individuals dropping off parade participants should approach the staging area (Horn in the West parking lot) via Horn in the West Drive off Highway 321 or Oak Street off Highway 421.
•Horn in the West Drive (off Highway 421) and Horn Avenue (off Highway 105) will be closed to traffic beginning 2 HOURS prior to parade time.
