Beech Mountain officials are inviting the public to weigh in on the next phase of planning for a mixed-use Commercial District, with an informal session set for next week.
The Town of Beech Mountain says Phase 3 of the planning process is now underway. Consultants from Hill Studio will give a recap of the project and take questions from the public at a meeting scheduled for 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, in the Town Council meeting room.
The session is described by the town as informal, giving residents a chance to hear where the Commercial District planning process stands and to ask the consulting team directly about the project.
The meeting will be livestreamed and recorded for those unable to attend in person. Residents who can't make it can submit questions in advance for the consultants by emailing kgavenus@townofbeechmountain.com by Friday, September 4.
