UPDATE 2:38PM – Avery County Sheriff Kevin Frye says missing juvenile has been located.
The Avery County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a missing female.
Korie Yelton is a white female, 14-years-old, and was last seen at a residence on Franklintown Road across from Mayland Community College at the Avery/Mitchell county line.
She was last known at her residence at about 10:30pm on Tuesday night (08/02/2017). She is 5'6″ tall, brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information is ask to contact the Sheriff's department.
