Current numbers from the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for October 5, 2024 are:
• Open welfare checks 1. Open checks are checks that are currently assigned but have not been returned to the EOC
• Welfare checks completed 2,004. Completed checks involved Rescue workers and Law Enforcement making contact with the person.
• (4) Four deceased persons
• (4) Four Missing Persons
• For the night of 10/4/2024 there was 218 persons in County Shelters
Please continue to watch for roadway closures and delays. Continue to use patience in these areas as workers are continuing to repair Utilities and Roadway throughout the County. Minimize as much travel as possible to allow the crews to complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible. Unnecessary vehicles on the roadway only slows the repair process.
