NEW ORLEANS – App State Men's Basketball's Feb. 24 matchup at Marshall has been picked up for national TV and will air on either ESPN2 or ESPNU the Sun Belt Conference announced Thursday. The network will be determined six days prior to the game.

With the announcement, tipoff has been moved to 6 p.m.

It will be App State's third game this season in front of a national audience, marking the second consecutive year that three App State regular season games will air on national TV.

App State beat James Madison 82-76 on Jan. 27 and Auburn 69-64 on Dec. 3 on ESPN2. They were App State's first two nationally televised games since the Holmes Center opened in 2000.

App State picked up its 20th win of the season last Saturday against Toledo in an instant classic that needed two overtime periods to be decided. The win marked App State's 13th 20-win season in program history and its first since the 2009-10 season. The Mountaineers are one of just 18 Division I teams with at least 20 wins entering Thursday's home contest with Marshall.

At 10-2 in Sun Belt play, the Mountaineers sit in a tie for first place in the Sun Belt entering Thursday and are one of just 26 Division I teams with at least 10 conference wins.

App State takes the floor two times at the Holmes Center this week, with the first chance to see them being Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Tickets still remain for Thursday's bout with the Herd.
