Blasting is scheduled to take place this week at the 105 bridge project.
The schedule is Tuesday and Thursday 11 am to 2 pm, weather depending.
Crews will briefly close a short stretch of NC 105 north of the Watauga River bridge just long enough to clear the roadway.
Impact on the traffic is expected to be minimal.
