…Patchy fog this morning in the higher elevations…

Watch for areas of fog this morning especially along the higher
ridges, and including Interstate 77, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Visibilities can be less than a mile in a few locations. Temperatures
are below freezing in a few areas which could result in patchy
freezing fog.

If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and leave
plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Watch for slick spots on bridges and overpasses. Pockets of fog
should lift by mid morning. Temperatures will rise this morning
to above freezing.
