Outage Alert 10:30 AM Monday March 10, 2025 : New River Light & Power is reporting a widespread affecting customers in the south area of Boone.
Traffic light is reported out in the Boone Heights and State Farm Rd. area. Please use caution around any traffic lights that may be out and crews.
Outage Update 10:50 AM: Some power has been restored. Crews continue to work to restore all customers. Please use caution around any traffic lights that may be out and linework being conducted in the Jordan V Cook area.
All power has been restored as of 11:40 AM. If you are still experiencing an outage, please check your circuit breaker panel and ensure all switches are in the on position. Call 828-264-3671 for any issues.
