Gov. Pat McCrory has joined President Obama by ordering U.S. and North Carolina flags to be immediately lowered on state facilities through sunset November 22nd, in a Day of Remembrance to honor the life and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. Citizens are urged to follow this order as well.
“President Kennedy’s life was cut short 50 years ago today, but the spirit of American optimism and determination that he embodied continues to live-on in the lives of Americans across our great state,” said Governor Pat McCrory.
