Lansing, NC – Sheriff B. Phil Howell announces the arrest
of 37-year-old Alex Howard Marshall of Lansing, NC, for
several drug charges, including Trafficking in
Methamphetamine and Fentanyl.
On April 5th, 2025, Sgt. Chris Greene was patrolling the
Lansing area when he noticed a vehicle in violation of the
law. Sgt. Greene initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle
belonging to Alex Marshall. Sheriff K9 Condor performed
an open-air sniff with a positive alert inside the vehicle.
Deputies began searching the vehicle and recovered 31.6
grams of Methamphetamine, 5 grams of Fentanyl, several
items of drug paraphernalia, and a handgun. Marshall
was arrested and transported without further incident.
Alex Howard Marshall, 37, of Lansing, was arrested and placed
under a No-Bond and is currently held in the Ashe County
Detention Center. His charges include :
- 3 Counts Felony Trafficking in Fentanyl (Opium)
2 Counts Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine - 2 Counts Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
- Felony PWIMSD (possession with intent to manufacture,
