This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.
Northwest winds may gust between 35 and 60 mph Wednesday night
through Thursday along and north of the Blue Ridge. In addition,
accumulating snow is possible for the western mountains and the
Greenbrier Valley during this time. Wind chills may drop to between 5
degrees above and 5 degrees below zero Thursday night into Friday
morning.
