Greensboro man arrested in Boone breaking and entering and larceny cases

On February 5, 2025, the Boone Police Department responded to multiple reports of Breaking and Entering of Motor Vehicles and Larceny. The incidents occurred primarily in the areas of Buena Vista Drive, Farthing Street, Tracey Circle, Council Street and Horn Avenue.

The investigation led to the identification of 33-year-old Alfred Seth Spivey of Greensboro as being the offender and he was subsequently arrested.

Alfred Spivey was charged with 5 felony counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, 2 felony counts of Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, 2 felony counts of Financial Card Fraud, and 3 misdemeanor counts of Possession of Stolen Property.  Spivey was also found to have a warrant for his arrest for Felony Probation Violation originating in Guilford County.

Spivey was issued a court date of April 3, 2025 and was placed in the custody of the Watauga County Detention Center under a combined $55,000.00 secured bond.
