On Saturday, September 28th, 2024, at 7:23 pm, Boone Police and Boone Fire personnel responded to Deerfield Road and the intersection of Blairmont Drive for a hit and run crash involving a pedestrian.
Forty-eight-year-old Terry Turbyfill was located with life threatening injuries. Mr. Turbyfill was transported to the Watauga Medical Center where, after lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced deceased.
