Some local residents may have to reset some clocks after a power outage occurred Wednesday afternoon. A possible tree on the line in the Powder Horn Mountain/Elk Creek Road area appears to have caused the issue, according to Blue Ridge Electric. At the height of the outages 501 members were without power. Power was restored early Wednesday evening.
