BOONE, N.C. — Stadium capacity will be 100 percent for App State's final home baseball series, a three-game set that begins Thursday, App State Athletics has announced.
The Mountaineers will play host to South Alabama on Beaver Field at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium on Thursday at 5 p.m., Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at noon. With the regular season coming to a close, App State seniors are scheduled to be recognized before Friday's game.
Fans are welcome to but will not be required to wear masks in the stadium. Tickets will be available for every chairback seat in the main seating bowl at Smith Stadium, at $10 per reserved seat, with no social distancing required. Premium seating areas — fire pits, the outfield deck, the Alumni Overlook, grass hill pods and other small group areas — will continue to be sold separately.
To purchase tickets or obtain more information about available options, contact Elizabeth Probst in the App State ticket office at probstef@appstate.edu.
Students who entered the student lottery for this week's series will receive an email update on their status and information on how to attend the game if they were selected to receive tickets.
App State will be offering concessions that are available through cashless transactions only (Visa, Mastercard and Discover). Available items include hot dogs, candy, nachos, popcorn and Pepsi products.
