BOONE, N.C. — The Sun Belt Conference on Friday announced the complete 2025 regular season schedule for App State Football, which has five Saturday home dates to go along with one midweek game in league play: a Thursday home contest against Georgia Southern on Nov. 6.
With head coach Dowell Loggains and his new staff preparing for their first season in the High Country, the 12-game regular season schedule for college football again stretches over 14 weeks in 2025.

HOME GAMES IN BOLD

The nonconference dates already were known for the Friday night Duke’s Mayo Classic opener against Charlotte in Bank of America Stadium on Aug. 29, the Sept. 6 home opener against FCS opponent Lindenwood, the Sept. 27 visit to Boise State and the Oct. 4 home game against Oregon State. The Boise trip will feature two of the nation’s top-10 winningest programs of the last decade, while Oregon State will be the first Pac-12 squad to visit Kidd Brewer Stadium.
Friday’s schedule reveal filled in the September gap, as App State will open Sun Belt play at West Division foe Southern Miss on Sept. 13 and have a bye week before traveling to Boise State.
The Mountaineers resume Sun Belt play on Oct. 11 with a trip to Georgia State and play their first league game in Boone on Oct. 18 against Coastal Carolina, marking the Chanticleers’ first Saturday visit to The Rock since 2019.
App State travels to Old Dominion for a road game on Oct. 25 and has its second full bye on Nov. 1, setting up a final month with three appearances at home over the final four games.
The midweek matchup with Georgia Southern on Nov. 6 comes after the Mountaineers and Eagles had squared off to close the regular season in each of the previous four years. App State will play at James Madison nine days later, on Nov. 15, before finishing the regular season at home against Marshall on Nov. 22 and West Division foe Arkansas State on Nov. 29.
Time is running out for season ticket holders to renew their season tickets online to Pack The Rock in 2025. App State has sold out of season tickets each of the last three years. The program’s average home attendance figures from 2021-24 represent the four highest in school and Sun Belt Conference history.
The 2025 season ticket renewal and parking request deadline is March 31. Parking allocation will begin at the start of May, allocated by membership level and then rank within that level. Parking requests are not guaranteed as lots are expected to be at full capacity again in 2025 (click here for more details and the parking map).

CHARLOTTE GAME TICKETS
Yosef Club members in good standing can purchase tickets to the Aug. 29 season opener via presale before they go on sale to the general public the week of April 7. Yosef Club members should have received an email by giving level throughout February for their presale promo code. For questions, email athletictickets@appstate.edu or call 828-262-7733. App State Athletics will receive the revenue from tickets purchased directly from the school's ticket office through June 1. After that date, proceeds from ticket sales will be split.
BATTLE AT THE ROCK – APRIL 12
Fans can get their first glimpse of the 2025 Mountaineers at the “Battle at The Rock” spring game on April 12 at Kidd Brewer Stadium. Register for a free ticket by April 2 to be entered for a chance to toss the coin prior to kickoff. Premium upgrades are also available. All proceeds from the game will go to the App State Football Support Fund.

2025 SEASON TICKET PRICES
Season tickets for the 2025 slate at Kidd Brewer Stadium cost $280 for anyone 3 years and older and $260 for current App State faculty/staff (limit of 2). Season tickets are $430 in the Gold section and the East VIP section. New this year, there is a $5 upcharge for aisle seats. A payment plan is available for season tickets (payments can be made through April 2025).
The cost of a season ticket represents a savings of up to 38% versus the cost of purchasing six single-game tickets individually ($280 versus $450).
