BOONE, N.C. — Two more App State home games have sold out, with the Aug. 31 opener against East Tennessee State and Oct. 26 homecoming game against Georgia State selling out of tickets.
App State announced May 21 that football season tickets sold out for the third straight year. On June 26, the Sept. 28 Liberty game was deemed a sellout.
Limited tickets remain for the Mountaineers’ other three home games this fall – Thursday, Sept. 19 vs. South Alabama, Nov. 2 vs. Old Dominion and Nov. 23 vs. James Madison. Tickets can be purchased at appstatesports.com/tickets.
App State students started to receive the Fall Student Ticket Information Email last week that has instructions on how to reserve student tickets for home games. The student ticket portal for each home game will open six days before the game. An email will be sent to all students each week to let them know when the portal is open. For the ETSU game, the email will go out at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25.
Last season, the Mountaineers went 9-5 with a win against Miami (Ohio) in the Cure Bowl. App State fans broke the school and Sun Belt season attendance records at Kidd Brewer Stadium for the third straight year.
