BOONE, N.C. — App State Athletics is excited to introduce the ultimate fan contest that gives Mountaineer fans a unique opportunity to be part of football intro videos at home games this fall.
App State is on the hunt for the most energetic, spirited and outrageously fanatic members of #AppNation to lead the way with the iconic cheer, “Welcome to The Rock.”
Fans can submit videos from May 15 through June 30. Winning submissions will be played at the end of home game intro videos at the climactic moment of pregame ceremonies this fall.
Winners will be notified in mid-July. Winners will also receive a prize package and be recognized on the field of the game at which their video is played.
Fan Video Guidelines:
· Be Creative!
· Film using a tripod or prop your camera up so that it remains in place during filming.
· Must be filmed in a horizontal format (16:9). Vertically formatted videos will not be selected.
· Wear App State gear and colors (videos submitted with opposing team colors, logos, and offensive or harmful language will not be selected).
· Videos should be no longer than 5-10 seconds in length, and the only words spoken should be “Welcome to The Rock.”
· .MP4, .MOV, or, .AVI files will be accepted.
