BOONE, N.C. — To date, App State Football has officially added 32 newcomers for the 2025 season, with seven newcomers being announced Wednesday, the start of the February signing period.
Five high school recruits, one junior college transfer and one FCS transfer were officially announced Wednesday. Not currently enrolled at App State, they are scheduled to join the program this summer.
Twenty-four newcomers who enrolled for the January start of classes will participate in the first spring practices under the direction of new head coach Dowell Loggains. App State fans will have a chance to check out the 2025 team on April 12 for the “Battle at The Rock” spring game in Kidd Brewer Stadium. Stay tuned for more details.
The list of NCAA transfers increased to 17 with the recent addition of Tyriq Poindexter, an offensive lineman from VMI, and defensive lineman Aiden Benton from Georgia Military College signed recently as a newcomer from the JUCO level.
