BOONE, N.C. – App State Athletics will celebrate the beginning of the 2024-25 athletics calendar with FanFest on Saturday, Aug. 17 at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
The free event will run from 3:30-5 p.m. and give fans the opportunity to interact with their favorite Mountaineer student-athletes. Every sport at App State will be represented — not just fall sports.
The event will feature posters, autographs with App State student-athletes and coaches, inflatables and other interactive games. Concessions stands will be open, and App State merchandise will be sold at the event.
Fans are encouraged to park in the Rivers Street Deck, the Stadium Deck (off Jack Branch Drive, past Raven Rocks Hall) or the New River Lot (off Stadium Drive, behind New River Hall). Spaces are subject to availability.
App State's Women in Motion 3.0 – a signature annual fundraising event in support of women’s athletics – will also be held Aug. 17. After FanFest has concluded, Women in Motion will be in the Grandview Ballroom of Kidd Brewer Stadium's North End Zone building at 6 p.m. Purchase tickets here for Women in Motion.
The 2024 football season kicks off Aug. 31 with a home game against ETSU. Other home games include South Alabama (Thursday, Sept. 19), Liberty (Sept. 28 – Family Weekend), Georgia State (Oct. 26 – Homecoming), Old Dominion (Nov. 2) and James Madison (Nov. 23 – Black Saturday).
