Winter Storm Warning & Wind Chill Advisory In Effect For The Weekend

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 7pm tonight (Friday Jan 6, 2017) until 7pm Saturday night. Snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are possible with wind gusts up to 20mph likely.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from 7pm Saturday until noon Sunday. Wind chills readings of 5 to 15 below zero are possible.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel…Have a winter survival kit with you.
