Wind Chill Advisory In Effect From 8pm Tuesday Until 8am Wednesday – November 27-28. 2018

UPDATED – ..WIND CHILL ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS
MORNING…

* WHAT…Very cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as 10 below
zero. Northwest winds could gust up to 40 to 50 mph.

* WHERE…In Virginia, Grayson County. In North Carolina, Ashe
and Watauga Counties.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The cold wind chills could result in
hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Scattered power
outages possible due to high winds knocking down limbs or weak
trees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
