Boone Fire and Medics were dispatched to a single vehicle crash into Charter Communications, located at 755 George Wilson Road, on Monday (Oct 19,2015) around 11am.
According to Boone Fire scanner transmission there was no load bearing structural damage and there appeared to be no injuries at the time. According to the Boone Police report the 33 year old female driver, and 4 year old child, were in the parking lot when the driver thought she put the vehicle in park and thought she hit the brake. The vehicle however was still in drive and she hit the gas pedal crashing into the building. Property damage is estimated at $10,000. The driver was charged with careless and reckless driving by Boone Police.
