Local fans of the History Channel show “American Pickers” may just get their chance to be on camera this fall. The program is coming to the area and is looking for leads throughout the region.

On Thursday WataugaOnline.com spoke via phone with Cat Raynor, Casting Associate for American Pickers, at her office in California. She says that the show is looking for, “specifically interesting people with interesting items and lots of them!” She added, “The sooner people with collections reach out to us the better.” The show is currently scheduled to film in late November.

The show is no stranger to the region, in September 2010 the show filmed in Mountain City, TN with an air date of February 2011.

WataugaOnline.com had some follow up questions via email to Ms. Raynor and will update as the information becomes available.

Those who are interested in possibly being on the show can call 1-855-OLD-RUST (653-7878), or email, AmericanPickers@cineflix.com
