Watauga County Schools will release early on Friday (December 18) for the holidays. Motorist are advised to plan ahead and be aware of increased traffic in school zones, and buses on the roads starting around mid-day.
Students in the K-8 schools will be dismissed at 12noon and Watauga High will let out at 1pm. School buses will run their regular routes and both breakfast and lunch will be served. Schools return back to class on Monday January 4, 2016.
