Power at the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles' headquarters will continue to be out all day today. This may continue to have a limited effect on driver license and vehicle registration services across the state. Customers are urged to call any DMV office before they visit to make sure the service they need will be available. An update will be provided this afternoon.
The power outage initially occurred about 11 a.m., Feb. 7.
