The High Country is in line to revisit winter tonight. Heavier snow amounts will be confined to points farther north than the North Carolina mountains.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a dusting to one half inch possible for the High Country starting late tonight. Partly due to a lack of a sustained winter, the ground temperatures are very warm and would limit any accumulations on most surfaces especially roads.
