A round of cold weather will be the weather story for the weekend. After a week of high temperatures in the 50s and 60s, this weekend will feel more like winter with temperatures ranging from the 20s to 40s.
Along with the colder conditions will the forecast of snow showers possible on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. On Saturday temperatures are forecast to drop into the mid 30s and winds will pick up. Gusts up to 65 mph will be possible across the High Country from Saturday through Sunday. Wind chill values in the single digits will be very likely. The Weather Service says that Wind Advisories and/or High Wind Watch will likely be needed.
