Silverstone Road is back open after a portion was closed due to a mudslide in the early morning hours.
The closure, as reported by WataugaOnline just after 6am Wednesday morning, in the 2300 block was discovered by Watauga County Sheriff's Deputy Paul Scott. Just before 3:30pm Watauga County Communications dispatch office tells WataugaOnline.com that the road has been reopen.
