Search For Timothy John “TJ” Trivette Continues

The search for a missing local man continues.

Multiple agencies continue to try and locate Timothy John “TJ” Trivette. Trivette was last seen by his family on Wednesday March 13th 2019 and his vehicle was located unoccupied near the Guy Ford bridge that same day. He was wearing black or dark colored pants, a dark colored shirt, and had a beard. 

Trivette is 36 years old, white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 6’0” tall and weighs approximately 185lbs.

On Saturday, Watauga County Emergency Management posted on Facebook that approximately 75 searchers from 20 different agencies had helped with the search on Friday. The agency also said that since Monday, March 18,  searchers have covered approximately 900 acres using foot crews, drones, search dogs, ATVs, and kayaks.
