Police Seek Suspect In Attempted Arson To Daniel Boone Inn

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On Thursday, June 1, 2017, at approximately 11:25 PM, an unknown white male was recorded on video attempting to set fire to the Daniel Boon Inn, 130 Hardin Street.  Video and still images are below.

Sergeant Shane Robbins with Boone Police tells WataugaOnline.com that the suspect was able to light a very small fire next to a rear door but it didn't progress any. Boone Police investigators along with Boone Fire personnel are working the incident.  The business was closed at the time and there was very minimal damage to the building.
