After high temperatures topped out in the 60s during the workweek, more seasonal like conditions are on the way for the weekend. Rain, with possible thunderstorms, and cold will be the weather story for Saturday and Sunday. Some snow flurries may be possible in the higher elevations, but overall the precipitation should be rain according to the National Weather Service.
Along with colder conditions will be the lingering high winds. Gusts up to 45 mph are possible on Saturday afternoon and into Saturday night, bringing with it wind chills in the single digits into Sunday.
Forecast highs are in the mid 50s on Saturday, before dropping into the 40s on Sunday.
The chance of rain will linger into much of next week.
