The Watauga County Sheriff's Office received several calls, on Saturday, about a motorist running Blood, Sweat & Gears bike riders into a ditch on a local road.
According to the Sheriff's Office report, a driver of a grey Hummer in the area of Georges Gap Road was intentionally running riders into the ditch. Two deputies responded but were unable to locate.
1400 riders were registered for the 18th running of BSG.
