Winter Storm Watches are in effect for Watauga, Ashe, Avery and Johnson County TN from 7pm Tuesday night until 7pm Wednesday night.
5:45am- some snow covered roads in Boone per early reports
6:10am – travel routes are largely not impacted by snow last night. There are some snow covered areas per Facebook reports, but nothing major.
