A mobile home fire on Monday afternoon resulted in minimal damages. The fire started in the laundry room of the mobile home, located at 737 Clark Swift Road, according to Watauga County Fire Marshal Taylor Marsh.
Fire units from Cove Creek and Beaver Dam responded and made a quick knockdown of the fire. Marsh tells WataugaOnline.com that a female was home at the time but was uninjured. Investigators are working to determine the cause. The family went to stay with relatives.
