Winds were the main issue associated with this storm. A gust of 60mph was recorded at the Ashe County Airport at 3:15am on Thursday morning. In Watauga a 50 mph gust was recorded at 6:55am at the Watauga Medical Center reporting station, and 50mph gust in Foscoe.
The lowest wind chill readings were 1 above both in Watauga & Ashe on Thursday morning.
