Lowering Of U.S. & N.C. State Flags To Honor The Victims Of The November 13 Terrorist Attacks In Paris, France

In honor of the victims of the November 13, 2015 terrorist attack in Paris, France, Governor Pat McCrory ordered all U.S. and North Carolina state flags to be immediately lowered to half-staff until sunset on Thursday, November 19, 2015. This order follows a proclamation issued by President Obama on November 15, 2015.

“As Americans, the people of North Carolina stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our French brethren against the senseless acts of terrorism in Paris on Friday,” said Governor McCrory. “We grieve over this senseless loss of human life and pray for the families of each and every victim.”
