The long time owner of Johnson-Cook Ford and John Cook Subaru passed away this week in Blowing Rock.
John Daniel Cook, age 85, of Boone, passed away Tuesday evening, January 10, 2017 at The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge, according to Austin and Barnes Funeral Home. From 1969 until 2004 John and his wife Rose owned and operated Johnson-Cook Ford and John Cook Subaru. He also served as a director of the NC Automobile Dealers Association (NCADA).
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 14 at 1pm at Greenway Baptist Church.
