Lane closures will take place on two local roads on Thursday.
NCDOT tells WataugaOnline.com that a lane will be closed near Broadstone Road and a lane will be closed near Watauga River Road. An official with NCDOT says they will be conducting bridge inspections at both locations. The inspections are part of the every-other-year evaluation routine.
Lane closures near Broadstone Road will occur on Thursday Aug 24 from 9am-noon, the closure near Watauga River Road will occur from 1pm-3pm.
