A home on Isaacs Drive is a total loss after a Friday morning fire.
Taylor Marsh, Watauga County Fire Marshal, tells WataugaOnline.com that the fire occurred at a home at the end of Isaacs Drive in Vilas, the home did not have a physical address.
The call came in shortly after 8 am, and the house was fully involved according to the caller, Marsh added. The homeowner was at home at the time and was able to escape without injury.
Responding units were Cove Creek Fire, Zionville Fire, Boone Fire, Sheriffs Office, Watauga Medics, and Fire Marshal Office.
The home is a total loss and took about two hours to control. The cause and area of origin is undetermined at this time.
