High Country To Send Christmas Trees to White House

WataugaRoads.com has learned that two High Country counties will send Christmas trees to the White House and the Vice President's home for 2012.

Ashe County has the honor of providing the White House Christmas tree, and Avery County will provide the tree for the Vice President's home.

Beau and Rusty Estes of Peak Farms will present the First Lady with a North Carolina Fraser Fir Christmas Tree. Paul Smith of Cool Springs Nursery will present the Vice President with a Christmas tree this 2012 Christmas season.
