Most forecasters agree that we are in store for possibly heavy rain starting tonight.
The Weather Service in their 3:47pm Hazardous Weather Outlook that Monday through Monday night rainfall of 3 inches is possible, with minor flooding possible.
It appears currently that the snow will not get here until Tuesday night, but that may change if the system currently in Tennessee speeds up or slows down.
Brad Panovich of WCNC- TV shares via facebook “Not much change to my thinking on the forecast just 24 hours slower. Heavy rain 1st for everyone Monday. Then snow mainly above 2500′ by Tuesday afternoon 1-3″ in the NC mountains.”
