A GoFundMe page has been set up for a single mother involved in a wreck that closed 421 in Vilas on Thursday November 10, 2016. As reported on WataugaOnline, the head on collision occurred just before 7:30am.

WataugaOnline.com has ask for an accident report from the North Carolina Highway Patrol multiple times since the accident, but they have not responded.

According to the gofundme page:

On November 10th, 2016, Kailey was involved in a head on collision. She was air lifted to Johnson City Medical Center and was intubated and put into an induced coma. She suffers from a C1 & C2 transverse fracture, Tib/Fib fracture, bilateral ankle fractures, arm fracture and a nasal fracture.

All of you that know Kailey understand what I mean when I say Kailey is the most giving, caring, tender hearted, sweet and loving person you will ever meet. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Now she needs help. Kailey is a single mother and has a young son, Chandler, who turned 5 on the day of the accident. Her mother, Brenda is staying with her around the clock and isn't able to work and bring in any income. Kailey has already had 3 surgeries and is going to have a huge hospital bill. She will have months of physical therapy and wont be able to work for a long time. She was already struggling before the accident to find a place to live. They were in the process of having to move due to their unsafe house that has elctrical problems with black mold and rotting floors.

Please…please help this sweet family. They need you right now. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate please keep her in your prayers and share this on your page to continue to support her on this long journey ahead.
