Teague tells WataugaOnline.com that crews made entry on the third floor, pulled ceiling and controlled the fire. Additional work was conducted on the roof to ensure the fire was completely out and remove burned materials.

Teague went on to say that the cause of the fire was a flue fire in the flue for the waste oil burner. The heat from the flue fire ignited combustible materials near the flue in the attic space.
