On Monday, February 24th, a woman visited Clawson-Burnley Park on Hunting Hills Lane, and left her vehicle locked while she exercised. She returned to find her vehicle unlocked and credit cards missing from her wallet. She then received information that the missing cards had been used shortly after they had been stolen at area businesses, to include Walmart, Publix, and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Surveillance videos were obtained which showed a white male wearing a “newsboy” style wool hat making the illicit transactions.
